She has attained a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling / Psychotherapy at Leicester University England, and a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling in Ireland. Helen is a practising Supervisor, having attained a Masters in Supervisory Practice. Helen trained with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, gaining a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis, and a Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. She also has a MA in Spirituality.

She has a natural gift of healing but additionally has trained in many therapies such as: Integrated therapy; Reiki; Magnified Healing; Source Healing.
Other techniques Helen uses in sessions are: Emotional Freedom Technique; Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR); Symptom Deconstruction; Somatic Experiencing (SE); Emotion Code (EC).
Her interests are to use what is best to help the person, which could be counselling /psychotherapy or a combination of the above.
How did Helen become a Counsellor / Psychotherapist / Supervisor and Clinical Hypnotherapist?
Helen trained as a nurse and worked in the National Health Service in England as a Clinical Nursing Manager for twenty years. Having used the Medical Model with patients over many years, she discovered other ways of successfully treating clients and developed a specific interest in using Alternative Therapies, specifically Counselling and Hypnotherapy.
Helen's belief is that the patient / client's health and well being are at the centre of therapy.
Her approach is professional, relaxed and friendly. The safety and confidentiality in the therapy process is always the top priority.
Helen works face to face or online, her clinic is located on the outskirts of Dungarvan town in County Waterford. Clients come from all across Counties Waterford, Cork, Kilkenny, Wexford Tipperary and further to her clinic.
Payment for sessions is made after the session, via online, cheque or cash. All sessions last 50 mins. Cancellations with less than a minimum of 3 working days incur full costs.
